THE INSTITUTE is a registered Canadian Charity operating under the name Bear Conflict Solutions Institute (Canadian Revenue Agency Registration Number 887464105 RR0001). We recently changed our name from the Karelian Bear Shepherding Institute of Canada.
Our organization is supported by private donations from individual Canadians, corporations, and foundations.
Your donation will directly support the development of solutions to decrease human bear conflict by providing funds for mitigation efforts to keep bears out of conflict with humans as well as educational programs for people who may come into conflict with bears.
